Introduction
The GP-AC500-FS is an authentication gateway AC for wireless networks. It is equipped with up to 2×Gigabit WAN ports , 4×Gigabit LAN ports and 2×Gigabit SFP slot. It supports functions such as routing, firewall, and wireless controller (AC), and can manage up to 512 wireless APs (local forwarding).
The GP-AC500-FS features a standardized, advanced system architecture, multi-service bearing, high reliability, easy maintenance, and low cost. It can function both as a gateway for wired networks and in conjunction with AP products to form a network. It is widely used in medium and large enterprises, petrochemical industries, coal mines, urban villages, hotels, internet cafes, shopping malls, industrial parks, and more.
The GP-AC500-FS can also be used as an edge computing node, providing securely isolated computing and storage space for third-party applications. Users can deploy IoT applications that require local decision-making and have high real-time or short-cycle data storage needs on the smart gateway. Business programs can be written in flexible high-level languages. Meanwhile, the wireless cloud management platform offers tools for the deployment, centralized upgrading, and remote diagnostics of third-party applications running on the edge computing network, enabling users to scale the deployment of business applications on edge nodes.
