Introduction
The GPLA1005-PN series is a high-performance, industrial-grade unmanaged PROFINET Ethernet switch, available with 5*10/100Base-T or 5*10/100/1000Base-T ports (optional), providing flexible connectivity for industrial networks.
The GPLA1005-PN series support broadcast storm suppression and QoS with 4- priority queues, making it ideal for OT-level field applications in industrial automation. By suppressing excessive UDP broadcast traffic from IT networks, it ensures real-time data transmission for PLC controllers and various I/O modules. When connected devices support CoS priority tagging, the GPLA1005-PN series can guarantee high-priority traffic forwarding under link congestion conditions. In addition, it supports real-time priority forwarding of PROFINET critical frames (EtherType 0x8892), meeting PROFINET-A conformance requirements.
The GPLA1005-PN series support dual 12–48 VDC power inputs, including over-current, over-voltage, and reverse-polarity protection to ensure stable operation under abnormal power conditions. It supports a wide operating temperature range from –40°C to +85°C and complies with EMC Level 4 immunity standards. With a fanless DIN-rail mounting design and IP40 protection, the switch is well suited for industrial IT/OT Ethernet networking in applications such as industrial automation, metallurgical plants, smart oilfields, and energy systems, delivering long-term, reliable high-bandwidth data transmission in demanding industrial scenarios.
