GPSENKE Unveils Innovative Solar Communication Solutions to Drive Efficient Green Energy Development

Smart Solar, Green Future

As the world embraces green energy and sustainable development, GPSENKE is committed to providing innovative communication solutions for the global solar industry. We have recently completed a communication network solution for 53 solar arrays, with a total capacity of 220 MW, marking a significant advancement in our technological capabilities and innovation within the solar industry. This solution provides comprehensive wireless coverage for each substation and ensures stable, high-speed data transmission, helping solar plants achieve efficient operations and intelligent management.

Project Background
  1. Project Overview
This project is located in Yixian and Shexian, Hebei Province, with 53 solar arrays and a total capacity of 220 MW.

Project Solution
  1. Comprehensive Wireless Coverage for 53 Substations
This communication solution involves deploying GPSENKE industrial-grade wireless AP devices to provide full Wi-Fi coverage for the 53 substations, ensuring stable device connectivity. GPSENKE’s industrial wireless APs feature strong signal coverage capabilities, enabling wireless communication up to a maximum radius of 250 meters in industrial environments, ensuring stable operation of devices even in complex conditions. Additionally, the wireless AP devices are compatible with future upgrades for unmanned inspections at the substations, equipped with GPSENKE industrial-grade wireless clients. This enables the transformation of the site into a smart, unmanned inspection system, greatly enhancing the operational efficiency of the solar plant.

  1. Stable Data Transmission from Substations to the Central Control Room
To ensure fast and stable data transmission, we have deployed GPSENKE industrial switches and wireless bridge technology, offering optimized solutions for different environments.
    • Switches for Fiber Optic Transmission
In areas requiring stable data transmission, we use the GPEM-R Series industrial managed switches to connect all substations to the central control room via a fiber optic network. The GPEM-R Series industrial switches support high-speed Ethernet connections and are equipped with strong anti-interference capabilities, making them suitable for the complex network environments of solar power plants and ensuring efficient and stable data transmission.
    • For areas where it is not possible to deploy fiber optics, we use GP-AB950 Series wireless bridges, providing high-efficiency and stable wireless data transmission solutions. The GP-AB950 wireless bridges support point-to-point transmission over distances ranging from 3 km to 100 km, addressing the challenges of fiber deployment and ensuring secure, real-time data transmission between remote substations and the central control room.
