GPSENKE Helps Moutai Fermentation Room Smart Upgrade!

Craft Brewing, Smart Heritage!

–Project Background–

Traditional manual transport faces challenges in high-intensity tasks, low efficiency, environmental sensitivity, and limited traceability. The solution must provide a high-reliability wireless AGV system and full network coverage to ensure automated, traceable, and stable production operations.

The project is located in Maotai Town, Guizhou Province, it aims to deploy a reliable wireless network in Maotai’s fermentation room, covering 6 AGV lines (40–80m) to enable fully automated, unmanned operations.

–Project Pain Point–

  • Low efficiency and high intensity of manual operations
  • Sensitive fermentation environment disrupted by personnel movement
  • Difficulty in full-process data tracking
  • Wireless coverage challenges: signal blockage and interference
  • AGVs require low-latency, stable communication

–GPSENKE Network Solution & Device–

Following on-site survey and CAD layout planning, a comprehensive wireless coverage design for the AGV system has been developed (CAD and network topology diagrams shown here), providing the foundation for subsequent equipment deployment and network configuration.

Factory Site CAD Layout:

Precise Coverage and High-Density Access:

  • Industrial Explosion-proof Wireless: GP-AP1200FB industrial explosion-proof APs, 31 units total, with explosion-proof omnidirectional antennas
  • Intelligent Signal Optimization: Customized chip optimization algorithms provide high bandwidth, excellent standby capacity, and robust stability.

Seamless Roaming and Stable Transmission:

  • Fast Roaming: 6 lines, 7 AGVs per line, total 42 units AGVs. Each AGV equipped with two AG3000 wireless clients for motion and fixture control. The GP-AG3000 wireless client supports 802.11r/k/v and GP Roaming with millisecond-level fast roaming, along with fine-tuned wireless connection control, ensuring continuous and high-quality wireless links for AGV communication.
  • High-Reliability Transmission: Capable of operating on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, with a maximum access rate of 1167Mbps, effectively providing higher performance in terms of coverage, access density, and operational stability.
  • AGV Internal Network: Each AGV is equipped with an industrial switch connecting internal devices (motion control, fixture control) and two AG3000 wireless clients.

Smart Operation and Visualized Management:

  • Centralized Network Management Platform: A unified intelligent operation and maintenance system that allows real-time monitoring of device status, performance indicators, and client connections across the entire network.
  • Visual Fault Localization: The platform can quickly locate fault nodes and provide historical data tracing, shifting from passive response to proactive alerts, greatly improving operational efficiency.

–Project Site & Result–

  • End-to-end network delay: stably at 3ms average
  • Packet loss rate: zero during continuous long-term operation
  • Roaming handover: smooth and rapid switching
  • Provides high-performance communication foundation for Moutai AGV scheduling

The project addresses wireless latency fluctuations and roaming issues in industrial environments, delivering a stable, reliable, and traceable network for Maotai’s AGV operations.
